1. "What kind of camera do I need?"
You must own (or rent) a DSLR camera and a lens.
2. "What does DSLR mean?"
A digital single-lens reflex camera (also called a digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital camera combining the optics and the mechanisms of a single-lens reflex camera with a digital imaging sensor, as opposed to photographic film. In simple words, no cellphones or film cameras.
3. "Do I have to own a photography business?"
Absolutely not! This is what we are here for! We will teach you how to get started in a photography business.
4. "What if I am already an established professional photographer? Will this workshop be too beginner for me?"
Congrats! It is always nice to have establish professional photographers attend our workshops. You can definitely still learn lots, such as posing, the business side of things and new editing techniques. It's always good to continue to educate yourself and gain more knowledge.
5. "I am a beginner... will this workshop be too advanced for me?"
We will be teaching the fundamental basics of photography, so this will be a perfect workshop for you.
6. "I have a camera but don't know how to use it... will I learn at the workshop."
We will have special workshops dedicated to teach those new to photography on how to use a camera. You should have a general knowledge on how to turn your camera on in order to attend! ;)
7. "I am a mom (or grandma) and I want to learn how to take better pictures of the kids/babies, will this help me?"
We will be hosting "Mommy & Me" Photography Workshops for moms (and grandmas (or daddy and grandpa!))
8. "I want to learn how to take portraits of a newborn or boudoir, will you have specialty workshops like that?"
We will be hosting specialty workshops and will release the dates once confirmed.
9. "I can't make that date, when are your other Workshop dates?"
Group Workshops are held once a month at our studio in Barrhaven, Ottawa. Stay tuned for more release dates!
10. "What does the fee cover?"
